This week in San Francisco, Airplane! takes over the Castro Theater, Feast of Words: Sensory Feast, a free Valentine’s Day Etsy Labs Craft Bar, Mirah & Thao, and The Dude abides at the 8th Annual Lebowski Party.

Monday 1/31: As another SF Sketchfest draws to a close, catch a special screening + Q&A with the creators of Airplane! See the classic 1980 comedy that still draws crowds after 30 years, and stay for a conversation with Jim Abrahams, David and Jerry Zucker, and Robert Hays. Tickets $25, 7pm @ The Castro Theater, 429 Castro Street.

Tuesday 2/1: It’s time for February’s Feast of Words potluck.  This month’s theme: Sensory Feast. As always, this month’s potluck will involve a quick-write contest and special literary guest, food writer Thy Tran. Tickets $5-10, 7pm @ SOMArts, 934 Brannan Street.

Wednesday 2/2: Check out the first preview of Magic Theater’s newest play, Theresa Rebeck’s What We’re Up Against, at Fort Mason Center.  Tickets $20-60, 8pm @ Fort Mason Center, Building D.

Thursday 2/3: This month’s Etsy Labs Craft Bar at the Museum of Craft and Folk Art honors 1960′s nun and activist Sister Corita with Love Corita, a free letter press Valentine printing craft night with support from San Francisco Center for the Book. 6-8pm @ 51 Yerba Buena Lane.

Friday 2/4: Help the Bay Area Girls Rock Camp raise money for their non-profit music program by partying in Oakland.  Win rockin’ auction items like a guitar customized by Ani DiFranco and signed Joan Jett LPs, and catch a benefit show by Mirah and Thao (check out an interview with music over here).  $15, 6:30pm @ Humanist Hall, 390 27th Street, Oakland.

Saturday 2/5: As Sketchfest comes to a close, IndieFest keeps the fest-ing alive with the 8th Annual Big Lebowski Party. Don your fanciest bathrobe, pick up some fresh half and half, and head down to CellSpace for white Russians, mini bowling, costume contests, and a screening of the Coen Brothers’ cult classic because sometimes there’s a man… I won’t say a hero, ’cause, what’s a hero? But sometimes, there’s a man. And I’m talkin’ about the Dude here… $5-10, 21+, 8pm @ 2050 Bryant Street.

Sunday 2/6: Catch the Superbowl IndieFest style at Superbowl XLV: Men in Tights. Head over to CellSpace (or just peel yourself off the bar floor after last night’s Lebowski Party) for an afternoon of free football and hilarious commentary.  21+, 2:30pm @ 2050 Bryant Street.
